Brussels this Friday!!
hey lovely people!
hope all is well? I am off to the lovely beautiful city of Brussels! A gift from the parents for my 21st!
i am to do some serious shopping and chocolate eating, i have seen a few places i want to go, and the big geek i am i will probably end up in the art museum for hours :) i swear i live in them, i was once moved on from the V&A in London, i had been there for 6 hours, they blatantly thought i was homeless; (just a poor student)
if anyone knows any hidden places that are good to go and things to see, give me a bell :)
i am soo excited! And my new fujifilm instax camera arrived yesterday!!!
(P.S thank you for the wonderful comments and to the followers, i will find a little something in Brussels to bring back and GIVEAWAY to one fantastic person!!)

Bora Aksu A/W11
I was once lucky enough to be a Runner at London Fashion Week, which made die i was so excited, whilst there i saw fantastic shows from Gareth Pugh, Zandra Rhodes, PPQ, Ashley Isham, Manish Arora and many more, one that has always stuck out for me is Bora Aksu!
Stellar show and Bora Aksu seems to exceed in every collection, if you haven't heard of this designer its well worth a look! amazing!!
Once again Bora Aksu has created a modern day twist on Victoriana tailoring; smoky greys, black, white and flickers of silver, all contrasted with a bold emerald green, which made a debut at his latest show.

London College of Fashion MA Show
YAN LIANG
Providing the crowd with some much needed light-hearted relief, Yan Liang’s collection packed some ecclectic quirky charm. Eccentric and irreverent the humorous designs offered a fresh approach to fabrication. Liang jumped between the natural and the faux, replicating the appearance of veneer wood to create wooden jackets and must-have trompe l'oeil accessories.

Threeasfour A/W 11 (image heavy)
It's been a while since i posted anything, been super busy!
went to the London Edge Trade Show in the Kensington Olympia, a show for all alternative fashion, from gothinc to punk to 50's pin up girl, was really good to see.
Then off to Manchester for a little light shopping, always the best shops there, much easier than London, back to work by Friday and to Milton Keynes on Saturday, getting ready for my birthday this Saturday!!!
Anyway i'm distracting myself from the post, Threeasfour, mega label with amazing silhouettes and shape with influences of light and shadow!
It goes without saying that Threeasfour like to do things their own way. Designers Adi, Ange, and Gabi have an eccentric vision, as inveterate and innovative fashion experimenters, to stage their shows however they please. You couldn't help feeling they were being very obscurantist, of their fine Fall collection. The show at Saatchi & Saatchi was dimly lit—almost totally dark, in fact—and as the models walked the looks, they were only illuminated in flickers of light. Almost impossible to see the clothes.

Vogue Italia's Black Allure edition
This month's Vogue Italia displaying many of the beautiful models in the industry. Even though you can't really see the clothes details, the lighting has a great quality like the underground bars in the 30's and 40's.
It looks stunning. I love the orange dress

marc by Marc Jacobs Ring
I should be working right now but today my lovely Marc Jacobs ring arrived from Harvey Nichols! In the lovely wrapped parcel and little black cotton bag; it fits perfectly considering i have child sized hands, to the amusement of my friends. Apologies for my horrible fingers, thats why i purchased this ring to distract people from seeing them!
Normally i would not buy things like this due the the horrendous cost, but i have to admit it was in the sale which did sway me into getting it, but amazing all the same........

Today is February!!
Today is February a lovely month for me, with the universal day of love upon us and my 21st!! which i feel is more important!
My parcel has arrived from Office displaying my neat and shiny new Adidas!!
I am being a bit lazy as well so here are a few images of RTW shows for you lovely people to look at, with a reentry of prints, screen, and knitted, geometric and monochrome. The use of print can be defined and manipulated creating a new look, and draw the eye in even as a means to define the shape, with Jean Paul Gaultier and Sonia Rykeil as my favourites!
what you think?
I would say more, but i'm distracted by my new shoes, so i'm off to wear them in!
