 Challenging herself technically, creatively and emotionally everyday, this 23-year-old designer creates clothes for babes who like to steal their boyf’s comfy casuals.

Anja Rubik is playing a muse in the latest Fendi Fall 2011 Ad campaign photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. This campaign makes it her third consecutive season as the face of Fendi, and i do agree that she represent the brand very well.

Are we animals? Well, no but we have a great fascination with them, no more leopard print, time for bold printed graphics of Disney classics to be sprawled across our clothing.

AW 12/13 HYPERCULTURE

WOMENSWEAR INSPIRATION & COLOUR

AW 12/13

we are not fully into SS11 yet and the trends and powers that be have predicted the colour and inspiration

the theme is HYPERCULTURE

Fusing multiple cultures, drawing upon cultural exchanges between China and Africa and the Middle East to create a fantastical mishmash creation. The haphazard translation and retranslation of both high and low culture gives rise to a super-hybrid aesthetic.

A diverse palette of quirky pastels and synthetic brights informed by cultural references. An unlikely alliance of colour is used to form hybrid graphic pattern in outlandish combinations, forming this new global aesthetic.
