Milan Menswear - Albino Deuxième AW11/12

Amazing menswear Designer i came across today, the square-cut tee-shaped top is a key piece in the collection, worked in with lofty brushed mohair, layered with silky tunic shirts and easy-fit trousers. The outerwear flows unstructured, silky parkas, shrug-on jackets with snap closures or as a sleeveless coat. A shrunken jacket shape portrays tailoring, with fuller-legged pant shapes and relaxed-fit dark dye jeans.

Muted greys and browns, milk and bone, with flickers of teal, taupe and a dash of sapphire. A sort of touch and feel me aspect, but i don't know if i want to touch the clothes or the models?

Munny

Munny Art done by my Brother Aidy!!

He makes custom to your spec!! i Love this one, a bit of gore and goo which seems to be a recurring theme in my post of late, I'm sure it's a phase and will soon pass.
So intricate, i just do not have the patience but they look pretty cool!

I will get a custom one made and have it as a GIVEAWAY!!

Reveal - The Inner Self

Are you sitting quietly? Ready for your examination?

Wei Ting Liang displays her 3rd year collection, the garments are skillfully crafted and give you a sense of being in a sterile environment, where the bodies lay still, before coming alive in a more fashionable manor than through the ground.

The white symbolizes death, it’s a necessary passage to world beyond that of mortals. We lose all that is outside, our physical appearance, we reveal the true inner self of individuality, reborn and made new.

This won't hurt a bit.....

A day in Paris PT 1

I have finally, well sort of sorted out my Paris photo's.
As you might know i went for the day to Paris with my good friend Basia, she had never been so i was her mini tour guide, from what i can remember from 2 years ago.

I must say i did remember it quite well and was quite proud of my fressex ( french with Essex accent) though my french is quite poor so apologies to the french; i am jealous, you can even make English sound soooo much better in french.

Dawid Tomaszewski

Dawid Tomaszewski and I can't take my eyes off these beautiful creations. Transparent fabrics and fish scales pattern are two major features in this collection. I love how ethereal the dresses look and the trousers look stunning in the transparent fabric used; whilst the fish scales pattern is making the clothes look floaty, feminine and playful.
The bird headdresses really work and the collection is seamless, like Greek goddesses and waltzed down from the skies above and graced us mere mortals with their presence.
He is definitely my new favourite designer of the moment, i hope to see more from him in the future.

Ring around my finger

My rings finally arrived from Romwe and i am very impressed! they fit beautifully and when i went to London on Saturday i had 2 staff member in Cos on High Street Kensington tell me how lovely and unusual they were, which made more happy that they were my first purchase!

They are so different, the delicate pearl and  flower ring stacked and my maoerduo ring with the lovely ears sticking up! I literally haven't taken them off my crazy little fingers since i opened the perfectly packaged box....

I feel my next purchase will be these, i want them so much!

I will put up the Paris post, i am just being lazy :)

Intrigue leads to disturbia

Intriguing, disturbing and shocking rolled into one, I  discovered Petrina Hicks. Hicks gently subverts the pervasive language of photography as it is used publicity, creating edgy images that intrigue and disturb. While she primarily works with people, her works go beyond the boundaries of portraiture as she finds beauty in perceived imperfections and renders idealized beauty strange.

What do you think???
