Alexander McQueen Menswear A/W11 + What i was doing

Sarah Burton showed her menswear collection for McQueen, with navy inspired donkey jackets, capes and smart tailoring, still in keeping with with the late designer's style but gradually bringing her own through as well.
i am in love with the magnificent oversized bright red coat, donkey jackets with golden embroideries on the back collar, pinstripe tailoring with fur collars; and beautiful suit jackets with gently ripped shoulder seams, to go with the marching music as the show started!
Fantastic!!











so my boots arrived from very, only for me to go and break the buckle, and they dont have them any more :(





but on the bright side the leopard wedges came and are stunning, although you can tell from the pictures that i have stupidly small feet, and are ever shrinking, you can't even see my toes!!! They are sooo comfy, and feel my leopard print collection is growing, maybe it's because it looks so nice, maybe its the essex girl in me, who knows???
Apologies for the photos i have little time to be creative and make do with the few moments i have spare! I will in the future make more effort!

    i hate to say that sarah burton has altered quite a lot of the late mcQueen's ideals, but she does manage to do things really beautifully.
    she has her own ideals, i think, and it's kind of different from mcQueen's. she's a genius though.
    i love those designs by her. kind of burberry-esque, too.

    i so agree, does look burberry, but if fell it looks more wearable to men, theatrics is one thing, another is to find men who will actually wear it, looks stunning, she did good!
